November Events

November will be a busy time at Pine Grove Middle.  Our fall book fair kicks off on Monday, November 7 and runs through Monday, November 14.  If you're unable to attend in person, shop online!

Wednesday, November 9 is our Sixth Grade Parent Thanksgiving Lunch.

Friday is our Veteran's Appreciation Luncheon! We love our Moody family and appreciate all of the sacrifices made by our Moody community!

Friday, November 18 is Club Day, FBLA Hat Day, and progress reports will be issued.

Thanksgiving Break is November 21-25! We are thankful for our students, parents, community partners, and teachers! Have a safe, restful, and enjoyable Thanksgiving Break.  Classes will resume Monday, November 28.

Teen Read Week - October 10-14

Flu Vaccine

The Health Department will be at PGM on Thursday October 20, 2016 to give the flu vaccine to students who have already signed up for the vaccine.  If your student was going to get the vaccine at school but does not need the vaccine now, please let the school nurse know.

Second Harvest of South Georgia's HUNGER 101 Food Drive

Pine Grove Middle is participating in Second Harvest's Hunger 101 food drive. Please send in your non-perishable food items; all goods collected will support local families! The class collecting the most items will win a pizza party!

Most needed items include: canned meats; canned fruits/vegetables; canned soup; peanut butter; pasta; macaroni & cheese; rice/beans.

Food drive ends Wednesday, October 5.

It's a busy week at PGM. Homecoming festivities kick off on Monday with dress-up days throughout the week.

TUESDAY:  Softball A plays at Valdosta at 4pm; Softball B plays at Valdosta at 5:45pm. 

WEDNESDAY: Football (7) plays at Tifton at 4pm; Football (6) plays at Tifton at 5:30pm.

THURSDAY: Softball A plays at Colquitt at 4pm. Football (8) plays at PGM at 4:30pm. LHS Homecoming Bonfire is Thursday evening @ LHS!

FRIDAY: The first Club Day of the year will be held during homeroom. Check out the Clubs tab for information about available clubs, sponsors, and meeting times. FBLA Hat day - $1, wear a hat! PBIS Celebrations (on team/grade).
